Babylonian Numbers
Convert between decimal numbers and Babylonian base-60 cuneiform numerals.
The Babylonians counted in base 60 (sexagesimal). Each position holds a value from 0 to 59, written with two cuneiform marks: a tens wedge (worth 10, a left-pointing corner) repeated up to five times, and a units wedge (worth 1, a vertical mark) repeated up to nine times, grouped in rows of three. Numerals run left to right, with the highest place value first, and an empty space stands in for a zero. Enter a number to see its glyphs, or type the positional digits to read one back.
