Five Needle Telegraph Code

Cooke and Wheatstone-style slash and pipe code with custom-character support.

The Five Needle Telegraph Code, also known as the Cooke and Wheatstone telegraph, is represented by \, |, and / in sets of five. See the original design at the bottom of the page. Uncommon letters C, J, Q, V, X, and Z are omitted. If your ciphertext uses three different characters instead, the auto-detect mode tries every permutation and picks the one whose decoded text scores highest as English.
